It is applied on a voluntary basis by businesses.
The Code provides additional benefits to consumers regarding the policy and the conditions applied by the trader, the product returns, the product returns in sales periods, the gift vouchers, the discount vouchers, the offers provided by the trader, the trader’s behavior and service to the consumer and complaints handling.
The Code also contains basic recommendations that the consumers are advised to adhere to for their own benefit.
